The lid fits so snugly that my stews barely lose any steam, and the color's even prettier in person than on screen. Cleanup is a breeze—everything slides right off the enamel, which I did not expect from a pot this heavy.
First American-made enameled cast iron I've owned, and the craftsmanship really shows in the even heat distribution. Made my beef stew yesterday and it simmered beautifully with zero hot spots. The enamel coating inside is smooth as glass and cleaned up with just a sponge.
Finally, a cast iron dutch oven that's actually made here; the enamel coating is smooth and even, and it cleaned up like new after a batch of chili.
