Took this up to the cabin for a weekend and the heat retention kept burgers sizzling long after I stopped adding coals. The draft adjustment let me dial in the flame without any fuss, so the whole cook went smooth. Already planning the next tailgate with it.
The draft adjustment is so smooth that I finally got the coals to a perfect steady glow without fiddling constantly. Took it to the backyard yesterday and the heat retention kept the burgers cooking evenly for the whole batch. Definitely worth it for anyone who grills more than twice a summer.
Used it all weekend at the cabin and the heat retention really held up, even when the wind picked up. The draft adjustment let me dial in the coals without fuss. Solid little grill for the price.
