Burned myself one too many times before grabbing this — now I can grab the handle straight from a 450° oven without flinching. The silicone is thick enough to really insulate, and it snaps onto my Lodge skillet perfectly.
I was a little worried this wouldn’t fit my skillet’s helper handle, but it slipped on snugly and doesn’t slide around. It stays cool to the touch even when I’m sautéing at high heat, which is a huge relief. The bright color is a bonus for spotting it quickly on a crowded counter.
