These wood underliners are a perfect fit for my cast iron skillet, and the oval shape adds a nice rustic look to the table. They really do protect the counter from heat, and the wood feels sturdy enough to last.
The natural wood grain adds a nice touch to the table, and they do protect the countertop from heat. My only small complaint is that the underliners can shift a bit when you slide the cast iron server across them.
