The Maryland engraving on the handle is a nice touch, and the seasoning gives it that smooth, non-stick feel right out of the box. I've used it for cornbread twice this week and it's already developing a great patina, plus it's a fun conversation starter at dinner.

The pan's pre-seasoned surface gave me a perfect slidey fried egg on the very first try, no extra oil needed. The Maryland engraving on the handle is a nice nod to home, and it heats evenly across the whole base for a solid sear.

The Maryland design looks sharp on the wall when I'm not using it, and the 12-inch size handles everything from cornbread to seared steak without feeling too heavy. Seasoning was already solid out of the box, so my first batch of eggs slid right off.
