I almost burned my roast last week with a flimsy wire rack, but this cast iron trivet’s thick base held everything steady and the meat came out perfectly browned without a single scorched spot. It’s already seasoned, so I just rinsed it and threw it right on the counter.

The little feet keep my roast a good inch off the pan, so the bottom crisps up without any burnt spots. It's weighty enough to stay put on the counter, and since it came pre-seasoned, I just wiped it and used it straight away.
