Finally, my cast iron skillet has a home instead of living in the cabinet. The stand holds it securely on my bookshelf, and it looks surprisingly classy next to my cookbooks.

I've had this stand on my kitchen counter for a few weeks now with my 10-inch pan resting on it, and the sturdy base keeps it perfectly stable even when I bump it while reaching for spices. It's become a nice little conversation piece when guests come over.

The base is solid enough that I don't worry about the skillet tipping over, and it fits perfectly on my kitchen counter without taking up much space. It's nice to finally have it out where I can see it instead of buried in a cabinet.
