The square shape uses the space so much better than my old round pan—those corners are perfect for searing four chicken thighs at once. The natural seasoning is already slick and non-stick right out of the box, and it’s held up through a month of daily eggs and cornbread.
The cooking surface is so generous that I can sear a full pound of chicken thighs without crowding, and the naturally seasoned finish has held up beautifully through daily use. It’s got that solid, hefty feel you want from cast iron, and clean-up is just a quick rinse and wipe.
The square shape fits my gas burner better than a round pan, so heat spreads across every inch of the cooking surface. I’ve used it daily for eggs and searing, and the natural seasoning just keeps getting slicker.
