10.5 Inch Square Glass Lid

This lid sits snug on my pan and traps steam so well that my braised short ribs came out fork-tender in half the usual time. The glass is thick and lets me check the simmer without lifting the cover. Exactly what I needed.

I was a little worried about ordering just a lid, but it fits my favorite Dutch oven like it was made for it. The glass is thick enough to see the simmer without losing any steam, and braising has become so much easier.

The seal is so tight on this thing that my braising liquid barely evaporates, and you can actually watch the simmer without lifting the lid. I've used it every night this week and cleanup is just a quick rinse.
