Amerikansk roadtrip: 12-tums kryddad gjutjärnspanna, South Carolina

The Palmetto State engraving on this skillet is such a nice touch—it’s a real conversation starter on my stovetop. Cooked a full batch of cornbread in it last night and the seasoning held up beautifully, no sticking at all. Well worth it for the road trip series.

The handle is perfectly balanced and the pan has that nice heft you want from cast iron, plus the etched Palmetto tree detail is a fun touch that makes it feel like a real keepsake. I've used it nearly every night since it arrived and it's already developing a great seasoning.
