The mountain-etched design on the base is a nice touch that really captures the state’s vibe. It’s my first cast iron and the pre-seasoned surface made the first batch of cornbread come out perfectly, no sticking at all.
The North Carolina etching on the bottom is such a nice touch, it makes the pan feel like a little piece of home every time I pull it out. Seasoned perfectly right out of the box, I cooked a cornbread in it last night and nothing stuck at all.
The 12-inch size is perfect for weekend cornbread, and the seasoned surface is already slick enough that eggs slide right off. The North Carolina mountain etching on the handle is a nice touch that makes it feel special every time I pull it out.
