I was worried the silicone would slide around on the handle, but it fits snugly and stays put even when I'm flipping a heavy pan. Took it off right after pulling a skillet out of a 425° oven and my hand felt nothing through it.

The grip on this handle is so much better than the bare iron—I can toss the pan around without worrying about it sliding. It’s held up through countless oven trips and stovetop sessions without any melting or discoloration, which surprises me for the price. Just wish it came in more colors to match

The 450°F rating is exactly what I needed for pulling my cast iron skillet out of the oven without fumbling for mitts. It's grippy but soft, and the color makes it easy to spot when I've set it down.
