The cast iron casserole pan heated evenly enough that my mac and cheese came out creamy on the bottom and crisp on top, no scorching. The whole set feels heavy and solid, and cleanup was just a quick rinse and wipe.
The loaf pan came pre-seasoned and ready to go, which saved me the hassle of doing it myself. I baked a dense sourdough in it yesterday and the crust came out perfectly crisp with zero sticking. The casserole pan’s deep sides have been great for slow-cooked stews too.
The cast iron heats so evenly that my banana bread finally bakes all the way through without a burnt bottom, and the loaf pan's heft just feels right in my hands. I've already used the pie pan twice this week and the crust comes out perfectly crisp every single time.
