The extra depth is perfect for camp cooking—I did a full dinner in it and the heat stayed even right to the edges. The lid fits snug enough that nothing dried out, and the seasoned surface handled eggs with zero sticking.
The lid seals so well that my stew practically simmered itself, and the natural seasoning meant zero sticking on the first use. Heats evenly across the whole pan, even on my camp stove. It's heavy, but that's exactly why it holds heat like a champ.
The extra depth is a game-changer for camping stews—I loaded it with veggies and meat and the heat stayed even the whole time. Cleanup was just a quick wipe, and the seasoned surface handled everything without sticking.
