Took this set car camping last weekend and the heat retention on the 5 quart pot is no joke—kept chili bubbling for a solid hour after I pulled it off the fire. The fry basket is built like it can take a beating, and the seasoned surface meant zero sticking on the first batch of cornbread.

The commercial-grade fry basket fits perfectly inside the 5 quart pot, so I can sear meat and then drop the basket in for a quick fry without dirtying another pan. The preseasoned surface held up through a greasy campfire cookout and wiped clean with just a paper towel.

Finally got to use the 5 quart dutch oven over the campfire last weekend, and the heat retention was fantastic—everything cooked evenly. The fry basket fits perfectly inside, making it easy to lift out a batch of crispy fries without spilling. I’ve already started planning my next outdoor meal aroun
