The lid fits snugly and the handle stays cool enough to grip without a mitt, which surprised me. Even though it’s lighter than my old cast iron, it still sears a steak with a perfect crust. Definitely my go-to pan now.
Used it twice already and the heat retention is unreal — browned some chicken thighs perfectly even after I lowered the flame. The lid fits snugly, and cleanup was way easier than my old heavy skillet.
