I've made two loaves already and the crust has that perfect crackle you only get from cast iron—no bending or warping at all even after preheating to 400°F. The seasoning is holding up beautifully, and cleanup is just a quick rinse and wipe.
Breads come out with that perfect crusty bottom and the heat distribution is noticeably even, no more burnt edges on my sandwich loaves. Only gripe is the weight—it's a solid chunk of iron that needs two hands to pull from the oven, but the results make it worth it.
The heft takes some getting used to, but the way it holds heat means my sandwich breads get a perfect, even crust every time. Cleanup is a breeze since it's already seasoned, though I do wish the handles were a bit larger for gripping with oven mitts.
